Help us prepare young emerging creators & innovators for the future
"The United States Department of Labor reports that 65% of the youth enrolled in primary school today will be taking on jobs and occupations that don't even exist yet..."
The mission is clear: Prepare young emerging creators and innovators for the future. When we started designing Creators Camp in 2013, we wanted to develop a program that would address the challenges that Educators and Parents face as it pertains to preparing young people for a very volatile and uncertain future. The United States Department of Labor reports that 65% of the youth enrolled in primary school today will be taking on jobs and occupations that don't even exist yet. The speed at which technology is transforming the employment landscape is breathtaking, and Educators and Parents are challenged with keeping up.
By providing elementary, middle and high school youth with early exposure opportunities to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design and Math, while simultaneously building skills in the areas of Creative-Thinking, Critical-Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Buildership - Creators Camp aims to launch creatively confident, deeply self aware, purposed people into the world to do meaningful work.
While we would like to serve EVERY young person, there is always the financial hurdle that must be overcome to engage Creators Camp programming. While we designed Creators Camp to be cost effective AND accessible, there are still young people that don't have the resources/means to be Creators Camp participants. The average cost for one Creators Camp Nomad/Pathfinder to access 1yr of programing ranges from $300.00 - $800.00 (including equipment). Like every nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on brave donors and sponsors to help us off-set the cost associated with delivering our programming. It is our hope that you find this work as important as we do...
Thank you in Advance for Your Contribution
